The 2015 WAMBA Annual General Meeting will be held at 11:30am on Sunday 26th April at Edward Millen House, Edward Millen Reserve in Victoria Park, Perth. All are welcome to attend, and join us afterwards at the TGIF Victoria Park Hawkers Market for lunch and the John Hughes Slopestyle event – the first of its kind in Perth!

The agenda will be:

  1. Welcome
  2. Attendance & Apologies
  3. Minutes of Previous Annual General Meeting
  4. President’s Report
  5. Treasurer’s Report
  6. Notices of Motion
  7. Election of Positions
  8. General Business
  9. Close of Meeting

Two Notices of Motion have been submitted for voting on by members:

  1. WAMBA is recognised as the state representative body for the WA mountain bike community.
  2. An interim Committee is formed at the AGM and remains in place until such time as the Constitution of WAMBA is changed to reflect a new governance model and a new WAMBA Board of Governance is established.

All positions are up for election – more information about nominations will be sent out shortly.

All members of WAMBA, and of all affiliated mountain bike clubs, are eligible to vote and thus have a say in shaping mountain biking in Western Australia.

For those members unable to attend the meeting in person and wish to vote, you may submit a proxy form which will be emailed out a week prior to the meeting.

More information on the John Hughes Slopestyle event can be found on the Event Calendar of WAMBA’s website.
